Bar/Waiting Person - Full Time or Casual Hours Available - £6.00 to £6.31 per hour
Previous experience would be preferred although not essential, as full training would be provided. Duties will include taking orders from customers, serving beverages, clearing glasses, assisting colleagues to ensure guest satisfaction, and any other associated tasks as required. Also required to wait tables at service times and functions. NVQs are available.
Kitchen Porter - Full Time - £6.00 to £6.31 per hour
Working shifts Monday through to Sunday covering breakfast, lunch and dinner as per rota.
General Scope and Purpose: To ensure that the kitchen, back of house areas and all other food production areas are kept up to the required standard by health & safety legislation and the hotel standards.
Tasks: To ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times using the required methods and to maintain all required supporting documentation. To ensure that the back of house areas, including corridors and loading bay are kept clean and tidy at all times. To help out in the kitchen as and when required to do so. To attend all statutory training as and when required. To attend any other training/meetings as and when required to do so. To ensure that all storage areas are kept clean and tidy at all times. To ensure bin area is kept clean, and swept at all times.
Room Attendant - £6.19 per hour - 25 hours per week
To assist Housekeeper in the maintenance and cleanliness of standards in the hotel. Service bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors allocated to you, ready for housekeeper to check. Report any maintenance faults or breakages to Housekeeper. Hand lost property to Housekeeper Carry out extra cleaning duties as requested by Housekeeper, or use own initiative. Assist with any other duties to ensure cleanliness and smooth running of the department. No previous experience necessary. Can be slightly flexible on start time to reflect any personal commitments but approximately 9.30 am to 2.30 pm
Sous Chef – Salary Negotiable
A great opportunity for a Sous Chef with hotel and/or pub experience looking to gain additional responsibility within this small brigade. Successful candidate must have the ability and desire to work with fresh food to produce consistent high quality freshly prepared food.
This role may suit someone looking for their first Sous Chef role but they must have the ability to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Responsibilities include ordering, taking food stocks, ensuring hygiene best practice is followed at all times and assisting with development of menus, controlling of GPs etc.
